Several members from both parties and chambers of Congress have contracted the Coronavirus. Forty-eight lawmakers have been affected. The full number consists of 37 House members and 11 senators. The virus is rapidly growing and has reached a US average of over 200,000 new cases a day.
The rapid spread of the virus poses a significant threat. Lawmakers are currently negotiating the stimulus relief plan. Wilson has since deleted a post on Facebook
mocking virus precautions.
Ironically, Wilson praised Donald Trump’s coronavirus response.
