A photograph of Senator Kelly Loeffler with Chester Doles, a well-known White Supremacist, recently surfaced on the internet. According to her campaign members, she was unaware of who the man was. “Kelly had no idea who that was. If she had, she would have kicked him out immediately because we condemn in the most vociferous terms everything that he stands for.” Stephen Lawson, Loeffler’s campaign spokesman, said.
The photo taken at a campaign event Friday caused a surplus of mixed emotions. Doles is a former leader of the Ku Klux Klan. Judges sentenced him for viciously attacking an innocent black man in 1993. He is also a member of a domestic terrorist group known as the Hammerskin Nation.
ALERT: Kelly Loeffler just posed for a photo with Chester Doles, a former KKK leader who runs the white supremacist American Patriots USA.
In 1993, Doles nearly beat a Black man to death.
In 2017, he marched in Charlottesville.
