Rudy Giuliani Wont Represent President Trump At Impeachment Trial

Rudy Giuliani will not represent President Donald Trump in his upcoming impeachment trial.

“Due to the fact that I may be a witness, the rule of legal ethics would prohibit me from representing the President as trial counsel in the impeachment trial,” Giuliani told the Hill.

Giuliani made a speech at President Trump’s ‘Save America’ rally, where he shouted to the crowd, “Let’s have trial by combat.”

According to Business Insider, the New York Bar Association is investigating Giuliani for the comments he made during the rally.

President Trump has not announced who will represent him during his trial.

“President Trump has not yet made a determination as to which lawyer or law firm will represent him for the disgraceful attack on our Constitution and democracy, known as the ‘impeachment hoax,” Hogan Gidley, press secretary for President Trump’s reelection campaign, said.
