Caitlyn Jenner Is Said To Be Weighing A Run For Governor Of California

Caitlyn Jenner is said to be exploring a run for Governor of California. According to Axios, the Olympic gold medalist is consulting with Caroline Wren, a longtime GOP fundraiser. Wren previously worked on former President Donald Trump‘s 2020 campaign.

The move comes as California Governor Gavin Newsom is facing a recall election. Republicans are angry about the Governor’s immigration and tax policies. Two million signatures have been collected for the recall of the Governor.

Last month, former California Representative Doug Ose announced that he was challenging Governor Newsom in the recall election.

Jenner, a Republican and former Donald Trump supporter, is best known for winning the 1976 Olympic decathlon and being on the reality T.V. show, “Keeping Up With The Kardashians.”

In 2015, the athlete transitioned to a woman. She stopped supporting the former President because of his stance on Transgender issues.
